The Law.
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, came into force on the 1st of October 2008. All existing fire legislation was repealed (including the Fire Precautions Act 1971. Fire certificates are no longer issued, and have been replaced with the requirement for a Fire Risk Assessment. Employers are responsible for identifying and controlling fire safety within their workplaces.

Fire risk assessments must be completed out by a competent person. Not all organisations have the time or expertice to carry these out which is where DMW can help. Our FPA (Fire Protection Association) trained surveyors are able to deliver comprehensive and meaningful assessments. As every building is different, the price for fire risk assessments will vary.
